This bioplastic is composed of renewable raw materials (vegetable waste), which with the addition of microorganisms, form a material similar to plastic. This bioplastic guarantees the same thermomechanical properties as conventional plastics, with the added advantage of being completely ecological and completely (100%) naturally biodegradable. It took many years of research to develop this high-tech bioplastic from the new ecological chemistry. Kartell embodies Italian excellence in the world. Awarded with numerous prizes, it is exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and at the Center Pompidou in Paris.
