The Sambonet PVD is a registered Know How. It is not a simple covering but yes
seals at an atomic level to the surface substrate, offering greater resistance to wear, scratches and
to the formation of rust or oxides.
PVD – acronym for Physical Vapor Deposition – gives objects valuable colors and
shades, and is obtained by the deposition of metal particles by vaporization in a
vacuum chamber. The coating bonds at an atomic level to the stainless steel substrate, providing the
material with greater hardness and resistance to both wear by rubbing and corrosion,
inhibiting the formation of rust or oxides. Thanks to the use of non-toxic materials such as titanium and
zirconium, PVD is in fact also used in the biomedical field as scalpels or surgical blades.

The one-piece knife is made as a single piece of steel. Unlike the knife a
hollow handle, composed of two parts, here there are no interruptions between the handle and blade and,
holding these types of knives, you perceive a pleasant sensation of heaviness and
