Even as a fellow, Manfred Landig was known not to just be content with the state of affairs. Constantly driven by a strong will and entrepreneurial spirit, he consistently worked on new ideas, even during his years as an apprentice. The development of innovative niche products, especially awakened his enthusiasm.Thus, in 1982 the only logical consequence came to light. As a manufacturer of quality refrigeration and electrical devices, Manfred Landig establishes his company of the same name in Bad Saulgau of the Baden-Würtemberg state, which focuses on building refrigerators and special equipment for the gastronomic and hunting sectors. Thereby the basis is laid for a traditional company in the tranquil small town of Swabia (Southern Germany), which causes meat connoisseurs to swoon all over the world.His inventive nature continues to fuel the founder, leading him to broaden his activities to address the entire issue of food packaging and processing together with his two sons Aaron and Christian Landig.This results in the production of vacuum devices, Sous-Vide devices as well as small electronic appliances and accessories for meat processing.
