The entire OMNIA service consists of a flat plate, a breakfast plate, a dessert or a side dish, a bowl and a cup, thus embodying the essence of modern catering culture. OMNIA is a universal table service that cleverly plays with contrasts. All four items have a matte exterior and appear finely layered. The internationally renowned EOOS team was inspired by natural phenomena such as lava flows, glaciers and rock strata. 'These natural and rough surfaces led us to the OMNIA shape: rough and organic on the outside and smooth on the inside. This tension fascinated us', so Martin Bergmann explained the development process. The play of contrasts is emphasized by the optional two-tone design of the service. In addition to pure white, OMNIA uses anthracite, light brown, bronze and dark brown colors to satisfy the desire for naturalness and sustainability of the urban lifestyle. The special two-tone version requires absolute precision in processing, as the grooves in the colored edition can only be made by applying a solid-colored porcelain mass. An application of the color at a later time would result in a smoothing of the structure and would not achieve the desired effect. Making hollowware double walls requires a great deal of dedication and care, as can only be found in a manufacturing company with people who do what they love and love what they do. Fineness is essential when handling the individual thin-walled pieces, which are carefully glued to the edges. Thanks to the double walls, it is also possible to hold cups and bowls without handles when they contain hot drinks or soups.
