The oriental tradition in the treatment of the blades is combined with the robustness of German steel in the Atlantic Chef line.
The steel of the Atlantic Chef knives is German steel 1.4116-X50 CR MO V15.
The combination of carbon, chromium, molybdenum, vanadium and other materials gives the blade a hardness of HRC 56' and above, providing stiffness and elasticity at the same time, increasing resistance to corrosion and optimizing cutting efficiency.
At the end of the production process, a manual polishing operation guarantees the long life of the edge, easy maintenance and fast sharpening.
Atlantic Chef knives are all NSF© INTERNATIONAL certified, a US non-governmental organization that operates in training and certification in the fields of public health and safety and defines some standards for the food sector.
The handles are made with a combination of Santoprene (a special elastomer with non-slip qualities) and polypropylene.
